Sonko’s reported transformation continues to elicit mixed reactions from Netizens as the Nairobi senator continues to charm his way towards the governor seat.
In the past few weeks Sonko has been stepping out in suits, looking all professional and mature. His famous interview on Jeff Koinange Live was the first time Kenyans saw this side of him. It was rumored that he had hired former media personality turned communication and image expert Cynthia Nyamai to help with the transformation.
Part of Sonko’s transformation was seen yesterday when he, together with Johnson Sakaja, picked up Rachel Shebesh at Nairobi hospital after she was discharged.
The three Jubilee aspirants who make up Nairobi’s Team Triple S then proceeded to hold their first strategy meeting.
Before that, Sonko stole the show with his gentlemanly manners as he carried Shebesh’s handbag and opened a car door for her.
Photos shared by Sonko on social media showing the rare gesture elicited mixed reactions and divided public opinion on whether it was right for the gubernatorial hopeful to carry a handbag.
