
KRA revealed that it plans to recruit more than 200 graduate trainees, 50 drivers, a data centre operations officer, a knowledge management officer, and a data integration specialist.
In a Tuesday, August 19 advertisement, the Authority also advertised opportunities for a security tools operations officer, a business application support officer, and a revenue assurance officer.
The applicants must be result-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, experienced, and high on integrity to fit into these positions.
How to Apply
Interested applicants have been instructed by KRA to apply through its portal, kra.go.ke, where full job descriptions and requirements are available.
After accessing the site, the applicants should then go to the Careers page and click on the ‘Register’ option to initiate the process.
Upon registration, the applicants will receive an email asking them to confirm their email address and complete the sign-up.
Next, candidates should log into the KRA portal using their username and password, then click ‘Log in’ to access their account. The system will open the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page.
On this page, applicants must navigate to the ‘Candidate Profile’ tab, select ‘My Profile’, and create or update their personal details.
The final step is to click the ‘Overview and Release’ tab to complete the application.
“Kindly note that all mandatory fields must be completed,” KRA stated.
Requirements
KRA also provided a list of documents successful candidates will be expected to provide. They include a valid good conduct certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), valid HELB clearance certificate, and a valid KRA tax compliance certificate.
The candidates will further be expected to provide a recent CRB report from an accredited Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
KRA directed all interested candidates to complete their online applications before September 8, 2025, noting that only shortlisted applicants would be contacted.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to equal employment opportunities, indicating that it welcomes applications from people of all ethnic groups as well as persons with disabilities.
