Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit (AHTCPU) and DCI Changamwe detectives arrested two suspects in Mombasa for child exploitation and online solicitation.
Following intelligence leads, police officers nabbed 41-year-old Regina Kauli Munyoki who had allegedly been using a dating website “AfroIntroductions” operated by Cupid Media to market her three children aged 13, 7, and 4 years old (two girls and one boy) for sexual exploitation.
Investigations revealed that Regina was making money by uploading sexually explicit content with her children and selling them to willing customers for money.
Disturbingly, it was also established that her husband, Isaiah Owala Gura, 52 years old, had been serially defiling their 13-year-old daughter since she was 11 years old.
Through forensic leads, the suspects were tracked and arrested. They were later produced before Mombasa Law Courts, where Regina was freed on a Ksh1 million bond, with two sureties of the same amount.
Isaiah remained in custody at Shanzu Prisons awaiting a ruling for a bond today, July 15, 2025
