Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth has lost his battle with cancer.
The beloved legislator was reportedly rushed to Nairobi hospital ICU after multiple organ failure. His family made the announcement on Friday afternoon.
Okoth has been seeking treatment overseas, and had just recently returned from Paris.
The MP was undergoing vigorous chemotherapy treatment, and had lost a lot of weight in recent months.
He once admitted to have been misdiagnosed and went on to take ulcers drugs for a year, before a second opinion confirmed that it was indeed colorectal cancer.
He was just 41 years old.
May God rest his soul in peace.
