Television news anchor Ben Kitili is a father again following the successful delivery of baby Roman Hami Kitili.
A day after celebrating Father’s day, the KTN news presenter announced on social media that his wife Amina Mude had delivered a bouncing baby boy, their second after daughter Ruby.
“Another rock for my sling. Roman Hami Kitili,” wrote Kitili, further disclosing that the baby boy is named after a legend who had 33 wives.
“[He is] named Kitili after his grandfather and great, great grandfather, Kitili wa Muthengi, a legend who had 33 wives.”
Posting pictures of the tot to his Instagram, Kitili noted that his wife Amina and baby Roman are doing well.
Naturally, the good news was received with excitement from celebrities and fans alike who posted their congratulatory messages.
Ben’s former colleague and Switch TV’s Nick Mudimba wrote “Ooooh congratulations bro!!”
Radio Jambo’s Massawe Japanni kept her message simple, writing “Congrats”
Kitili’s colleague at KTN Sharon Momanyi sent her blessings; “Congratulations to you and @amina_mude !!! Mbarikiwe kabisa!”
