As the debate continues on how women should treat their partners after vlogger Lisa Gaitho told Kenyan women to bathe their significant others, Kenyan songbird Emmy Kosgei has shown the world how she treats her man.
The singer’s Nigerian husband, Anselm Madubuko, turned 62 yesterday, just three days after Emmy Kosgei celebrated turning 38.
To celebrate him, Emmy planned a classic surprise birthday party in their home.
In a video shared by the songbird on Instagram, Madubuko is seen coming down a staircase as violinists and a handful of guests serenade him with a birthday song. The bash was strangely thrown at the crack of dawn, with Emmy Kosgei noting that it was at 5 am.
“Birthday surprise this morning at the house for my hubby… we pulled it,” she captioned part 1 of the video. In the subsequent clip, she added: “This was 5 am at the house! Surprise birthday for my hubby…. thank you peeps.”
The two have been married since 2013 are popular for their public displays of affection.
