Yet another domestic quarrel has ended in a gruesome murder following the death of a woman at the hands of her husband of three years.
The man who is only identified as Fred is said to have committed the heinous act on Wednesday night at around 9:30 pm.
According to neighbours who spoke to Citizen TV, the incident occurred as the couple’s two children, aged 13 and 8 watched.
The neighbours reported hearing commotion coming from the deceased, Jackline Nekesa’s house and only later realized that she had been attacked and beheaded by her husband.
The suspect fled the scene after slashing his wife to death with a machete.
One of the neighbours, Laurine Oyomba, said that Nekesa had once confided in her that her husband was threatening to kill her.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect. The body of the deceased was moved to City Mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.
