Nairobi gubernatorial election loser Miguna Miguna has refused to follow the growing trend of losers conceding and congratulating their opponents.
The controversial lawyer had uncharacteristically gone missing from Twitter since Tuesday, leaving people wondering whether he lost his password.
Yesterday however, Miguna returned to his favourite social media platform to thank his campaign team and those who helped him ‘fight the cartels’.
In a series of Tweets, Miguna also revealed that he is ‘consulting’ on how to continue fighting the cartels and impunity. But lo! and Behold to anyone who thought he would at least acknowledge Mike Sonko’s victory.
“Mike Sonko remains a functionally illiterate convicted drug dealer and looter. I’ll never recognize him as my governor. Period!” he tweeted.

Miguna has not been known to have kind words for Sonko or his other opponents in this race. He has used different nasty tags for Kidero, Peter Kenneth and Sonko throughout the campaign process.
In Tuesday’s poll, Sonko came out on top with 53.47% of the vote. Just as predicted by opinion polls, Miguna did not manage even 1%, only getting 9,892 votes at the time of this writing (0.63%).
Peter Kenneth managed 2.67%.
