Larry Madowo hosted his last ‘The Trend‘ show this Friday. He had announced his intentions a week prior, and made good on his promise after hosting a star studded edition.
He gave a final monologue explaining how he ended up the show by accident. James Smart was the first host before leaving for KTN. Smriti Vidyarthi hosted briefly before being away one Friday, and the task fell on Larry Madowo. Smriti did not want back the show and Larry continued hosting it.
The show has seen him travel all over the world and he joked that the only reason the show was allowed to continue and even allocated an extra hour was because the bosses did not watch.
Larry went on to mention and thank those who worked on The Trend, on screen and behind the screen.
