TV presenter Tamima Ibrahim better known as Miss Tamima has parted ways with Standard Group’s KTN.

Miss Tamima, who was the editor of The Insyder Magazine before hosting KTN’s Urban youth show Str8 Up Live, made the announcement on her last at the media group last Friday.

After hosting the entertainment show for two years, she rose the ranks to become the host of KTN’s Morning Express.

In addition to Television hosting, she held a role as a Media Executive, heading up Content Acquisitions for the Standard Group’s TV platforms.

Making her announcement last week, Miss Tamima said she was sad to leave but it was time to move on as a fully fledged media executive.

She wrote: “I am so nostalgic today being my last day at KTN.This place has been a big part of my life for a long time, I grew up here literally. My very first TV hosting gig, as @MissTamima on Str8-Up Live, years worth of invaluable experience and now I leave a fully fledged media executive ready to take on the world thankful to all those who took the time to mentor, teach and held my hand to guide me make my passion into a career. I’m sad to leave, but I know it’s time and this is the right move for me to make and to pay forward the experience by enriching others on a similar journey. Thank you to everyone who made it amazing! It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings! #NewBeginnings”
