The young man who has been making headlines for his freakish resemblance to Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has spoken up.
Jesse Kinyanjui who hails from Ruiru in Kiambu County has as a result of the widespread media attention been alleged to be the politician’s illegitimate son, allegations Kalonzo has since denied.
When asked, Kalonzo killed two birds with one stone by denying the allegations and launching an indirect jab at Deputy President William Ruto: “Hiyo sio kazi yangu.”
Mr Kinyanjui, an Advanced Technical Training Centre, and Ruiru Boys High school alumni, told a local daily that he is used to the “comments on how I resemble the wiper party leader, but I never thought it would get this far.”
He revealed that he has been rocking a moustache since he left high school and that the teasing about his resemblance to Kalonzo has been rife since his college days.
He added that he is set to meet Kalonzo soon after the leader launched a search party, but declined to disclose further details.
Additionally, an overwhelmed Kinyanjui said he was not ready to make any more comments on the issue and that he should be given time to process the situation since he is not used to so much media attention.
