K24 screen siren Karen Karimi has updated her social media followers on her progress after suffering a severe back pain live on air.
On Instagram, the news anchor recounted how she suffered two disk slips while on air three weeks ago and rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for further examination.
According to Ms Karimi, the pain felt like she was in labour.
“Three weeks ago… I suffered a severe back pain live on air. The pain,,, I felt I was in labour ? I was rushed immediately to Agakhan Hospital. Straight to Private ward, on IV and multiple jabs for the pain,” wrote Karimi.
Doctors who conducted an MRI discovered that she had a tear on her lumbar spine.
“An MRI test was conducted and they found out I had a tear on my lumber spine that caused 2 minor disc slips,” she added.
She is now recovering slowly after undergoing physiotherapy.
