If word on the street is to be believed, radio presenter Phelix Odiwuor also known as Jalang’o and TV Talk Show host Jeff Koinange could be the next power duo on radio.
Sources have it that, in its new arrangement, Hot 96 plans to pair Jalang’o and TV personality Jeff Koinange in morning show.
Speaking to Monday Blues, Jalang’o confirmed negotiations are ongoing.
Well, it is true that Hot 96 has talked to me but I have not taken a decision yet. As for now, I am still with Radio Maisha,” Jalang’o said.
Asked how much Hot 96 was offering him, Jalang’o said it was an amount that is “almost irresistible”.
According to Monday Blues, should the moves happen, the two will be the highest paid radio presenters in the country.
The rumors come just days after Jalas emerged top in a consumer insight of the most popular radio persoanlities in the country.
