As if once is never enough, the father of Grace Msalame’s twins, Paul Ndichu, on Valentine’s Day proposed again to his fiancée Evaline Momanyi.
The second proposal comes just weeks after the couple held a Ruracio, a dowry payment ceremony in the Kikuyu tradtion.
The lovebirds who are expected to walk the aisle later this year, first got engaged last year with Ms Momanyi taking to social media to flaunt her diamond-encrusted ring.
On Valentine’s Day, Ms Momanyi accepted the proposal alongside a shiny emerald green ring and wrote on social media: “I said Yes..Twice”, with the hashtags LOML, Valentine, Asked Again, Not Going Anywhere and Blessed.
Mr Ndichu, twin brother of Eddie Ndichu – Janet Mbugua’s husband, is the CEO of Interswitch East Africa while Ms Momanyi is the Senior Manager M-PESA: Digital Financial Services Evolution at Safaricom Limited.
