I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Politics in this country is just one big joke.
The matatu that was burnt down on Monday during Cord’s chaotic demo was yesterday delivered to the former Prime Minister’s office.
Starehe MP Maina Kamanda led hundreds of youths to Raila’s Capitol Hill office, where they dumped the shell of the burnt minibus, with a huge ‘Donated to Babu’ writing. Most matatus that ply the Huruma, Kariobangi and Kayole route were in the procession.
Apart from the free drama, the demonstrators were mostly peaceful and the police did not interfere.
