raoIf there’s anything the story of Ben Ngatia taught us, it’s that as much as we get our information on Twitter, take it with a pinch of salt.
Out of nowhere on Tuesday, the protester who was seen getting beaten on Monday was pronounced dead. KOT baptized him Ben Ngatia from Ndumberi.
Media houses soon jumped on the same story. He was later found in Kibera alive and with a different name, Boniface Manono. But that was not before Raila and Cord leaders observed a moment of silence for him.
