Anerlisa Muigai, the daughter of Keroche Breweries CEO, is the latest high profile Kenyan personality to share with the public about her struggles with being overweight.
Taking to social media, the founder and CEO of NERO Company, revealed how she could not post a current picture of herself for a year because she was embarrassed of her weight.
As of last year December, she weighed 120 kgs, something she blames on stress. Four months later, she has moved from being a size 22 to a size 16 in her weight loss programme.
Anerlisa also shared before and after photos to show her incredible progress, stating that is a challenge to be a young lady in this competitive world.

“Last year i was going through stress that made me put on alot of weight. The left picture was December last year weighing at 120kg/size 22, the right one is me today at size 16. I am not where i wish to be but i am happy with my progress. It had been a year since i posted a current picture of me because i was embarrassed of my weight. With good diet, gym and focus you can be whatever size you want.
It’s also a challenge to be a young lady in this competitive world. It’s tougher being related to a woman who has surmounted odds many of us can hardly imagine. But we are who we are. Everyone of us is a children of destiny.
