Musician Appeals To William Ruto To Take Back Car Gift for Modifications

March 8, 2016

ruto1A musician from Western Kenya has appealed to Deputy President William Ruto to take back a car he received as a gift from him for modifications.
The Webuye Jua Kali band singer Daudi Zakari, wants the car modified to be disabled friendly. The singer who is living with disability, lamented that paying drivers had become expensive.
“I am humbly appealing to the DP to modify this car so that I can drive myself and even work part time job as a taxi driver here in Webuye town,” Zakari said while addressing the press in Webuye town, Bungoma County.
Ruto rewarded the singer with a car after he made an impressive performance at an event the DP had attended. The car was presented to him by Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama at Masinde Muliro gardens in Webuye town last month.
