Barack Obama has delivered a funny and heart-felt love poem to wife Michelle onValentine’s Day during a skit on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Standing in front of a red curtain surrounded by flowers, the President gamely reads from an auto cue as Barry White’s Never Gonna Give You Up plays in the background.
“Somebody call the Situation Room, because things are about to get hot,” the President says, to whoops from the audience.
“Michelle, this Valentine’s Day I’m going to treat you right.
“I’m going to make you some zucchini bread.
“Then I’ll spread out some veggies on a plate just the way you like them.”
He then trips over his words as he realises he’s about to read a plug for a reality show hosted by Ellen.
He says: “Then I’m gonna give you a massage while you watch… Ellen’s Design Challenge on HGTV?”
He then adds that he “ObamaCares” about her before delivering a final, heartfelt declaration of love.
“Michelle, I’ve made a lot of great decisions as president,” he says. “The best decision I ever made was choosing you. Thanks for putting up with me. I love you.”
He then wishes Ellen a Happy Valentine’s Day as well. (Source – Mirror.co.uk)
