EkoGospel artist Eko Dydda has revealed that at one point in his pursuit for high school education, he was learning in a girls only school.
The award winning rapper was speaking to kenyans.co.ke when he made the startling revelation.
“I first joined Eastleigh High School but was unable to continue with my studies there. I had to join Riverside Girls’ High School where I studied with girls for one and half years,” he said.
Eko Dydda revealed that financial constraints led him to join the girls’ school, where he was allowed to pay half the school fees.
“I had challenges paying school fees and that is why I left Eastleigh in the first place. When I approached a teacher from Riverside High School, I was offered a chance to learn by paying half my fee,” he said.
He described his experience at the school as challenging.
“The fact that I was a very shy boy made my life at Riverside High very challenging. But with time, I was able to shed off the shyness,” he said.
