Wasteful: To Welcome Uhuru to Malindi Yesterday, Governor Kingi Put up These Billboards

How will you know the elections are fast approaching if our politicians all behaved?
On his continuing coast tour, President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Malindi yesterday, and Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi was keen to make it known from the word go that the President was entering an ‘ODM county’.
Kingi put up several huge orange billboards bearing ODM leaders’ pictures.
Of course he has every right to do so, and there’s nothing exactly legally wrong. Unless he used county money to pay for it.
It is however sad to see us in constant political mood. Only God will save our beloved country.

UPDATE: Reports have it that some youth under supervision from security officers pulled down the billboards before the President’s arrival.
