12 years ago on March 16th, the Kenyan music industry lost one of it’s most promising rising stars, Issah Mmari, popularly known as E-Sir.
On his 12 year commemoration, a section of Kenyans who still mourn his death remembered him among them singer Nameless. The hitmaker survived the grisly road accident along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway that claimed E-Sir’s life.
He took the time to eulogize E- Sir with whom he collaborated on mega hits like Maisha and Boomba Train.
He posted on social media: “I can’t help but wonder what could have been!! I can’t help but wonder what kind of woman you would have chosen as a wife. I can’t help but wonder what kind of music you would be doing now…. I can’t help but wonder how many kids you would have by now! Can’t help but wonder which Kenyan artists you would admire, I can’t help but wonder how many tours we would have done together and if we would have done one more collabo track for the fans!! I CAN’T HELP BUT WONDER!! I MISS YOU BRO!! YOUR MUSIC LIVES!! We will forever celebrate you E-SIR. 12years today since you left us.”
