nacLast night, NTV’s investigative journalist Dennis Okari reminded us of his investigative capabilities with ‘Certificates of Doom’.
He focused on Nairobi Aviation College, exposing the substandard education and the fake certificates being sold there.
Not everyone was pleased with his decision to focus on just one college when it’s pretty obvious there are many more culprits. One of the dissenting voices was blogger Robert Alai.
In his characteristic style, Alai took to social media to ‘expose’ media personalities who are graduates of Nairobi Aviation, some of whom are actually working at NTV.
Here’s what he said.
These journalists passed through Nairobi Aviation. I hope that they will be sacked now that NTV has discovered the scam

Perhaps we should point out that this does not make their certificates fake. Thousands of genuine students have also passed through the institution.
At the end of the day, if you do your job well, you’ll not give your employer reasons to dig into your past.
