Lupita Becomes 2nd Kenyan To Reach 1 Million Facebook Likes

Lupita Nyong’o on Sunday became the 2nd Kenyan individual to reach 1 million likes on Facebook, achieving this milestone two weeks after Daniel Ndambuki.
Lupita’s presence on social media has gone from virtually insignificant to huge over the last couple of months. The Oscar winner is by far the most followed Kenyan on Instagram, and the only one with over 1 million likes on the relatively new photo sharing site.
In total, 4 Kenyan pages now have over 1 million likes. KTN was the first, with NTV following a few months later.
Individually, Churchill was the first and now Lupita.
