A global property development company, Labidu, has named Nairobi the third best city in Africa to live in.
According to the firm, the Kenyan capital has some of the lowest rent rates in Africa,nairobi averaging KSh 602 per metre.
“Kenya is a country with an average rent of only Sh602 ($7) per square meter and, unlike other African cities, the housing options with a reasonable size of land are affordable in Nairobi. Also, apartments with swimming pool and fitness centres can be found frequently,” the real estate firm said.
Tunis in Tunisia was ranked the best city to live followed by Accra in Ghana while Rwanda’s Kigali ranked fourth.
