On Tuesday, a rather embarrassing thing happened to Kiss TV when DSTV reminded them to pay their bill on screen. According to Kachwanya.com, this happened during their Iive on Blast programme at night. The payment alert message apparently ran for the entire time the music was playing.
Surely, even if a station is struggling, such embarrassing scenes are unacceptable. According to the same blog, the music were playing in the same order as Trace Urban. Can’t we even try to do something differently?
The TV station was supposed to shut down late last year and relaunch with a new name. The management however stuck with it, and how it does will have to be seen.
