Angola is Africa’s happiest country, according to the World Happiness Report (2013) released this week. Last year’s winner, Mauritius comes at number two, with Algeria, Libya and Nigeria rounding up the top 5.
In the Eastern Africa region, Somaliland leads at position 13, Djibouti follows at 17. Ethiopia at 19 is third, followed by Uganda at 20.
Kenya appears at position 22, with our neighbour Tanzania at position 39.
