For the past one week, Nairobi motorists have seen some work being carried out at major roundabouts. The age old traffic lights have been replaced with modern lights with digital counters, both for motorists and pedestrians.
Among the places with these installations are Haile Selassie roundabout and Westlands roundabout.
The lights will also come with a CCTV camera, to monitor traffic flow for the operator, and essentially to capture those breaking rules.
