On Friday, 23 year old Wangui Gitonga was declared Miss World Kenya 2013, after weeks of pageant competition training and primping classes.
Wangui is a linguistic student at German School, and due to her victory, she went home 1 million shilling richer.
The 1st Runner-up was 21 year old Leah Tesfamariam, a first year International Relations student at Maseno University. She went home with Sh100,000.
21 year old Sophia Umwiza came third, as a result going home with Sh50,000.
