Yesterday, Mombasa governor Hassan Ali Joho and former Mvita MP Najib Balala met over lunch at Tamarind Mombasa and in the words of the former tourism minister, the purpose of the meeting was to share ideas on how to solve issues affecting the people of Mombasa.
It seems President Uhuru set a good precedent, by meeting Raila over the weekend.
On his Facebook page, Balala posted the above picture and wrote,
Earlier this afternoon upon request of Hon. Hassan Joho, Governor of Mombasa we met over for lunch. We basically shared ideas on how to solve the many issues affecting the people of Mombasa. Mombasa is greater than an individual and for the sake of Mombasa we have agreed to continue consultations on various issues and in particular to stand in Unity.
Governor Joho also posted about the meeting.
Today i had lunch with Hon. Najib Balala and we discussed ways on how to work together for the betterment of the people of Mombasa County.I must say Mombasa is greater than all of us.
