“This is too much danger in one photo!” A Twitter user exclaimed after seeing Mombasa Governor Joho and William Kabogo together.

Another added: “Pablo Escobar and his cousin Gustavo Gaviria.”

The two monied politicians and former political foes on Tuesday held a brief meeting in Mombasa when the former Kiambu County boss paid Joho a courtesy call.

According to Joho, they discussed “matters of national interest in particular nation-building and national unity.”

Kabogo and Joho also shared pictures of their meetup on their respective Twitter pages, drawing mostly negative comments on account of their alleged links to drug dealing.

Other Twitter users acknowledged that the handshake initiative was at work for bringing the former frenemies together.

However, comments linking Joho and Kabogo to drug dealing appeared to irk the Kiambu politician, who blasted his haters telling them to report to the police.
