It is often said that friends don’t always make the best of business partners. In fact, a friendship founded on business is better than a business founded on friendship.

That seems to be the case for former friends and business partners, TV presenter Betty Kyallo and model Susan Kaittany. The two were once the formidable power duo and through their friendship, they founded the high-end salon and spa- Posh Place.

One year after opening doors to the Hollywood inspired spa in Nairobi’s Kilimani suburbs, Betty and Susan are no longer business partners.

They are also alleged to have fallen out as friends as evidenced by the absence of their once enviable ‘womance’ on their social media pages. When all was rosy, the two often posted pictures together and went on dream excursions to exotic places like Thailand.

All photos of each other have since been deleted from their pages.

A source at Posh Palace also revealed that the two no longer hang out as they used to. The two used to share brunches, lunches, and dinners at News Café, a place where they no longer hang out.

With speculation rife, the KTN news anchor has spoken up, revealing that she is no longer a business partner. Though she did not comment on alleged fallout with Susan, Betty said she has not been part of Posh Palace for about a month now.

“I’m no longer at Posh Palace because I’m no longer a partner.”

She said she is busy working on new projects, which will be unveiled soon.

“I’m looking forward to working with big brands, make money and see what this world has for Betty Kyallo.”
