Our neighbours in Uganda are out to take the film industry by storm. Forget Hollywood, Nollywood and even our local Machawood, Wakaliwood is the future!
In a small Ugandan village called Wakaliga, action movie studio Ramon Film Production , is making the Ugandan version of ‘The Expendables.’ A trailer of the ”coming soon” film has already been released and it is making headlines across the globe, albeit sarcastic ones!
Wakaliwood prides itself in making action packed films with lots of fighting and over the top CGI effects or rather defects, that are used so blatantly that you almost forget how awful they are. On that note, the filmmakers appear to have struck gold with ‘The Ugandan Expendables – Operation Kakongoliro.’
