Kaberere’s Wife Pays Tribute to Late Husband in One Year Anniversary

It seems like just the other day when the gospel industry lost one of its celebrated singers, Peter Kaberere.
Monday 6th, marked his one year anniversary since he passed on. Friends and relatives posted their heartfelt tributes and among them was Kaberere’s widow, Njeri Kaberere aka Njesh Wa Qabbz.
“Kabbz a year sounds like a day…. You Live in our hearts and on Jesus’ feet. Your songs are now heavens melodies!!” she said.
Njesh who lost her husband when she was expecting to deliver their second child described what life has been like since the loss, in an interview with Eve woman two months ago .
“I have my low moments but I know that God is in control. Kabz death is about God. It has not been easy, but I have learnt to count on God. He gives me strength to face each day and be there for my children,” she said.
“It feels empty being without him, both at home and at work, since we worked in the same company. My son Ulani, always has this notion that his dad has gone away to work because when he was still alive he used to travel a lot for work-related assignments,” she added.
We wish her and her family strength to keep going. Kaberere’s legacy and music lives on.
