zahaManchester United duo Wilfried Zaha and Fabio Da Silva are closing in on moves to Cardiff City.

United winger Zaha is undergoing a medical at St George’s Park ahead of a loan switch until the end of the season, while defender Fabio is set to pen a permanent deal.

Zaha has been a target for Cardiff since October, as revealed earlier, and a source close to the player expects the move to be wrapped on Sunday.
But despite United’s initial reluctance to let the winger leave Old Trafford, David Moyes has now determined that he will benefit from spending the rest of the season in south Wales.
Zaha will be joined by his United team-mate Fabio, who is set to join the Welsh club on a permanent basis after passing a medical.

The Brazilian’s contract expires this summer and he does not figure in Moyes’ plans after making just one Premier League appearance all season.
Bluebirds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have agreed a minimal fee for Fabio’s services in order to sign him now rather than for free in July.
Kenwyne Jones of Stoke is also undergoing a medical as part of a swap deal with Peter Odemwingie.
Sportsmail understands that Cardiff will pick up the tab for Zaha’s wages – his basic pay is believed to be £35,000 a week – and he will not be eligible to face United in the Barclays Premier League on Tuesday. A loan fee of £1.5m is believed to have been paid to United.
Regardless of Zaha’s behaviour, which has concerned Moyes, it is a significant coup for Solskjaer, who has been determined to mould a more aggressive team than the one that played under Malky Mackay.
Solskjaer is more than aware of the issues that accompany one of the brightest young English talents. One Premier League manager was warned off signing Zaha earlier in the season.

And the player’s relationship with Moyes hit a new low earlier this week when Zaha was 45 minutes late meeting up with the squad on Monday for a reserve fixture against Middlesbrough in Salford.
The United manager decided that Zaha should be put on the bench for that fixture. Zaha had earlier shown his annoyance at being left out of the United squad for Sunday’s game at Chelsea.
Moyes was initially reluctant to let Zaha leave while Ashley Young and Nani were injured, but Young’s return and Moyes’s continued issues with Zaha’s behaviour have accelerated the process.
Cardiff are also confident of landing Wigan defender Ivan Ramis.

A source close to the Spaniard, 29, claims that personal terms have been agreed.
