
The shocking incident came to light on Sunday when the victim’s brother reported to police that her sister was killed inside her house. Police officers from Elburgon Police Station, accompanied by detectives from the Molo Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), rushed to the scene and found the woman dead inside her house.
According to a police report booked at Elburgon Police Station, the teenager admitted to committing the offense. Police also revealed that he was a Form Three school dropout.
Detectives report that the event took place on Friday at around 1:00 p.m. when the teenager demanded to know his biological father. When she failed to reveal the name, he allegedly struck her multiple times on the head, killing her instantly.
The following day, the boy reportedly dug a shallow grave inside a nearby house within the compound and planned to bury the body on Sunday morning.
However, his plan was cut short when police arrested him on Sunday following a tip-off from his uncle.
The woman’s body was later moved by police officers to Elburgon Level IV Hospital mortuary for preservation and postmortem examination.
The murder has left locals in the region stunned, as police continue to probe the horrific killing.
