Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna says he intends to take Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho, and activist Makau Mutua to court in Canada.
While hinting at returning to Kenya from Canada, Miguna Miguna tweeted that the trio should expect to face unspecified charges at the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario.
“Before I return from exile, I need to remind @MakauMutua, @FredMatiangi and @Karanjakibicho that there are SERIOUS CASES waiting for them at the @SCJOntario_en,” he tweeted.
The hotheaded lawyer further insinuated that the trio had stolen public funds.
“Let them put aside sizeable amounts they have pilfered to satisfy the judgments in those cases,” Miguna added.
The self-proclaimed revolutionist also responded to a viral photoshopped poster of himself in a Netflix film dubbed ‘The Man From Toronto’.
Miguna Miguna insisted he is from Kenya, not Toronto.
“My umbilical cord was cut in MAGINA VILLAGE, Kano Plains, Kisumu County, in the Republic of Kenya. That’s where my placenta was buried. Not Toronto,” he tweeted.
Miguna, who was deported in 2018 for the mock swearing-in of Raila Odinga on January 30 of the same year, has since assured his supporters that he will return in the foreseeable future.
Last month, he said he was waiting for Ruto to be sworn in before his passport can be renewed.
