Rap fans are over the moon after two of their favorite Luo rappers, Khaligraph Jones and Japesa, hopped on a track together.
The duo’s rap colleague, Octopizzo, might have ruled out working with Japesa on another Luo rap song à la ‘Bank Otuch’ with Vicmass Luodollar but Khaligraph Jones was grateful for the opportunity to work with the fast-rising Kisumu phenomenon.

Their new release is dubbed ‘‘Nyakalaga’, a groundbreaking afro-centric gospel hip hop track fused with Luo rap. It sees the two rap stars rebuke the devil while asking God to forgive their sins and bestow His blessings upon them.
While Japesa delivers his fire verses and raps in pure Dholuo, Khaligraph combines Luo, English and Swahili into a hard-hitting blend that has some fans listening and watching the track next to a fire extinguisher as a precaution.
