This President knows no rest. Last week, he was in Nigeria for the World Economic Forum and signing of bilateral trade agreements with our West African brothers.
When he arrived, he immediately went to Ardhi House where Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu was facing a storm. He then visited Deputy President William Ruto at his Harambee House offices.
Later, he hosted a delegation from the European Union at his CBD offices.
On Friday night, Chinese PM came calling, and the President was again at JKIA to receive him. He was with him the whole of Saturday, and was sure to take him to Nairobi National Park. At night, he hosted a state banquet for him.
He would continue entertaining him whole day Sunday, before he left late afternoon.
After seeing him off at JKIA, no way the president was going back to State House before finding out the status of the new Terminal 4. CS Eng. Kamau took him and DP William Ruto on an extensive tour, and as it turned out, it will open doors to the public in two months time, on July 4th.
The new terminal will double the airport’s annual passenger capacity.
