The Real Housewives of Nairobi has broken streaming records for most first-day views on Showmax in Kenya.
The premiere episode, which aired last week Thursday, is now the most-watched premiere ever for any title on Showmax in Kenya.
RHONairobi also claimed the top spot on Showmax’s Top 10 most-watched the moment it launched last Thursday.
The reality show’s producer Eugene Mbugua celebrated the fete, saying “The team at D&R Studios is elated to have The Real Housewives of Nairobi become the most-watched launch episode ever in the history of Showmax in Kenya. It is incredibly gratifying to have the sweat and sleepless nights the cast and crew put in appreciated by the audience.”
He added, “This success is a culmination of years of collaboration between D&R and Showmax to keep putting out compelling content. We cannot wait for everyone to enjoy the rest of the season of RHONairobi.”
