Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz has added another feather to his cap after becoming the first musician in Sub-Saharan Africa to garner over 2 Billion Views on YouTube.
The Bongo Fleva sensation has achieved the milestone in 11 years having joined the streaming platform on June 12, 2011.
Diamond Platnumz boasts over 7.16 million YouTube subscribers and 1000 videos on his channel. As of Thursday, December, the videos had been viewed 2,000,681,904 times.
The singer’s label took to social media this week to celebrate the new milestone.

Diamond Platnumz tops an elite list of African stars with the most views such as Burna Boy (1.7 Billion views), Wizkid (1.5 Billion views), Fally Ipupa (1.2 Billion views), and Davido (1.2 Billion views).
