Akothee appears to have scored herself a brand new Mzungu boyfriend if her recent social media posts are anything to go by.
Since announcing her break up with her former manager Nelly Oaks in April of this year, Akothee gave the strongest hint of a new man in her life with a series of posts on her InstaStories.
The seemingly smitten musician was over the moon as she flew from Mombasa to Nairobi to pick whom she described as her life partner at the Jomo Kenyata International Airport(JKIA).
“Today I am not crying because I am meeting my life partner,” she captioned a selfie on her flight.
In another post, she teased her fans, asking: “Would you take a flight to go meet him and fly back? Ama utamngoja tu nyumbani?”
At the airport, Akothee continued to brag, writing: “From the International arrivals. Lanes my friend. Picking up my sweetheart.”
The sweethearts eventually went home, with Akothee sharing several clips of their romantic moments. One showed Akothee caressing her supposed lover’s head and playing with his hair.
“When he falls asleep n my lap and feels our heartbeat. All I needed,” she wrote.
While she did not reveal his facial identity, Akothee hinted he might be Swiss. This she did as she filmed the man teaching her local chef some culinary tricks in the kitchen.
“Chef Muchiri gone international. My chef getting training from Swiss,” Akothee wrote.
