President Uhuru Kenyatta will deliver his State of the Nation Address later this month.
National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi announced the planned address to MPs during the Tuesday plenary sitting.
He said Uhuru would give the address in a joint sitting of the Houses of Parliament on November 30.
In the address, Uhuru is expected to take stock of his administration’s achievements as well as state his plan for the final year in office ahead of the August 2022 General Election.
The State of the Nation Address is usually slated for Thursdays but has been changed to Tuesday because MPs are set to go for their long recess on December 2.
“The clerk is hereby directed to make arrangements for members to participate in the special meeting,” Speaker Muturi said.
