Crowd mills at the scene where a man was lynched on suspicion of bestiality in Mwingi

A mob on Tuesday lynched a middle-aged man who was reportedly found engaging in an unnatural act with a cow in Mwingi town.

The deceased allegedly turned violent after he was caught in the sex act in the wee hours of Tuesday and cornered leading to a vicious altercation that resulted in his death.

According to reports, the man’s body was found at around 4:00 am by a passer-by at the Mavoko area of Mwingi town.

Polie arrived at the scene and moved the body to Mwingi level IV hospital mortuary as investigations into the matter commenced.

Confirming the incident, Kavuvwani Location chief Nicholas Muvengei warned locals against taking the law into their own hands.
