Kenya’s Afro Neo-Soul singer Dela Maranga last week Wednesday said ‘I Do’ to her ‘Good Bad Boy’, Dr Reign.
The wedding was as lowkey as they come, and it was graced by the couple’s immediate families at Sheria House, Nairobi.
“Yes, I am finally married to Dr Reign after our private wedding at Sheria House,” Dela said.
Asked why they decided to get married in a civil wedding, Dela explained that she didn’t want the drama that comes with big white weddings.
“I think normal weddings have a lot of drama and spending for nothing. I chose something that would make my day special,” she said, adding that she wanted a day that would be just about her and Dr Reign.
“We did not want to have our friends to spend so much because of our day. It is now official and I am gonna release a song to explain more about our wedding,” she said.
The ‘Mafeelings’ singer is also planning a party for her friends. “It is going to be private as well, but it’s soon.”
