Two weeks after a colorful traditional wedding at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda, lovebirds AY and his Rwandese beauty Remy have tied the knot in a pristine beach wedding.
The Tanzanian rapper, real name Ambwene Allen Yessayah, and Remy held their invite-only wedding on the shores of Indian Ocean in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, February 24.
The invite-only wedding was attended by a star-studded guest list that included Professor Jay, Radio personality Shaffie Weru, Lady Jaydee, Fundi Frank, producer Hermy B and others. AY’s best man was fellow rapper Mwana FA.
The wedding comes months after AY’s proposal on July 13, 2017. The two met in 2008 and have been together since.
AY, 36, first introduced Remy to the world in December 2016, when Remy was celebrating her birthday.
