Veteran Bongo Flava artist Joseph Haule popularly known as Professor Jay over the weekend wed the love of his life, Grace Mgonjo.
The rapper turned politician and his bride exchanged their vows and made it official on Saturday at the St. Joseph Church in Dar Es Salaam.
‘’Namshukuru Mungu nimetimiza ahadi ya ndoa kwa mchumba wangu ambaye tumepitia mabonde na milima,” said Jay after the ceremony outside the church.
The couple has been together for close to 13 years.
Professor Jay, who is the current Member of parliament for Mikumi Constituency, proposed to Grace on New Year’s Eve.
The lavish wedding was attended by high-end guests including the country’s opposition chief Edward Lowassa.
Several artists including Sugu, Ay, Lady JayDee and others attended the wedding with Diamond Platnumz giving a surprise performance.
