A quarrel between three teenage friends ended in tragedy after one of the boys was stabbed to death by his friend.

Brian Irungu Aswan, 19, was stabbed by Imar Kahua, 18, at the Kampala Coach bus stage on Sunday evening.

The two are said to have picked up the quarrel along Duruma Road before the 5.30 pm incident.

According to a third friend, George Gitonga, the brawl involved the three of them before Imar turned to Brian with a knife.

Police who reported to the scene established that the deceased had visible stab wounds on the back of the neck and left back ribs.

The scene was photographed and body moved to city mortuary pending postmortem.

The attacker fled the scene as police launched a manhunt.
