“Some Club Officials Are Very Happy When We Lose a Game” – AFC Leopards Coach Cries Sabotage

May 26, 2016

ivanAFC Leopards coach Ivan Minnaert has made sensational claims that he is being sabotaged by a clique of officials at the club.
The Belgian tactician was speaking on Monday night as a guest on SuperSport’s weekly show, PlayBack. He however expressed confidence in turning over the club’s dismal performance in the second leg of the current season of the Kenyan Premier League.
“I know from experience, that it is almost impossible to get a hundred percent support from the officials at any given club,” said Ivan.
“But at Leopards, we have a scenario where if you lose a game, some officials are very happy. This is a very difficult environment to work in. To the fans, we apologize for the poor show and results, I want them to believe we are working round the clock to improve on these aspects,” he added.
Ingwe have in the past couple of weeks been on a winless run failing to post a win in any of its last six league matches.
As a result, the team has dropped from first to eighth on the standings, and now even boast of a negative goal aggregate with 19 points from 14 matches.
