Late last year, CORD leader Raila Odinga said he would be naming the individuals who benefited illegally from Eurobond cash.
He was speaking at Matunda Primary School in Lugari Constituency during the launch of Papa Dennis’ album. Mr Odinga claimed those involved in the theft had doctored figures to suit their schemes. He said that the country had lost more than Ksh 140 billion.
On Saturday 9th, Raila also gave the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko a three day ultimatum to name the ‘thieves’, failure to which he would publicly mention them.
On Wednesday, Kenyans were waiting for Raila to finally list the individuals but as it turned out, it wasn’t to be.
Here’s how the Kenyan twitteratti reacted
